Many of the early choral programmes, dating from the inaugural concert in 1893, can be found in the Kirkcudbright Choral Society booklet, Centenary Celebration 1893 – 1993, on the Library page.
The list below summarises some of the recent concerts performed by the Society in Kirkcudbright Parish Church and in the Church Hall.
The Christmas concert again took place in the familiar surroundings of Kirkcudbright Parish Church. The concert programme was entitled In "Dulci Jubilo: Seasonal Music for Voices and Brass", and the choir was again joined by Borders Brass in a seasonal celebration of traditional and modern carols, together with other works for choir and brass.

The Kirkcudbright Choral Society's inaugural Autumn Concert in November, was marked by a special performance of Karl Jenkins’ “The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace” in the Cochran Hall, Kirkcudbright Academy. This profoundly moving work, commissioned by the Royal Armouries to commemorate the millennium, has firmly established itself as one of the most successful choral works of our time. The choir was joined by the Stewartry Chamber Orchestra and Borders Brass in an arrangement of the work by the choir’s Musical Director and Conductor, Michael Appleford.
