The Kirkcudbright Choral Society holds a unique position among the Arts in Kirkcudbright. Since its formation in 1892, the KCS has built an enviable reputation for the quality and variety of its choral music. The three concerts that the KCS gives each year attract enthusiastic audiences to the Society’s venues at Kirkcudbright Parish Church and the Church Hall, and at the Cochran Hall, Kirkcudbright Academy, are very dependent all forms of support. Sponsors and Friends make an important contribution to the life of the Society.
If you would like to support Kirkcudbright Choral Society you could consider becoming a Sponsor, a Patron or a Friend. The KCS Sponsor, Patron and Friends scheme aims both to enable businesses and concertgoers to contribute towards the running of the Society and as a means of involving them more closely in the Society’s activities.
In building and sustaining its repertoire, KCS attaches great importance to its ties with leading companies, businesses and individuals in the community, and is developing an attractive and flexible range of opportunities to benefit from closer association. These include sponsor packages either for individual concerts or for an entire season. The Society would particularly welcome a longer-term programme tailored to the strategic objectives of the sponsor.
If you become a Sponsor, a Patron or a Friend, you will be entitled to:
- priority booking and special discounts for all our concerts;
- opportunities to meet the conductor and chorus at musical and social events;
- acknowledgement of your support in our programmes.
Special packages can be designed for commercial sponsors offering additional privileges that include display of individual commercial logos with links to websites, and full acknowledgement in our concert programmes.
Kirkcudbright Choral Society warmly welcomes the support and encouragement of those who would like to take part in this way.
