Tickets and Venues

Kirkcudbright, an ancient port and one-time county town, is situated on the Dee estuary about 25 miles west of Dumfries, in the beautiful Dumfries and Galloway region of South West Scotland (www.dumgal.gov.uk). The Kirkcudbright Choral Society is an integral part of the cultural scene of Kirkcudbright which, because of its long history and association with distinguished artists, both past and contemporary, is now known as the “Artists’ Town”.   Music and art are almost indigenous to Kirkcudbright which also provides a variety of entertainment in its annual Summer Festivities.  There is also an annual Jazz Festival in June, and a spectacular Tattoo is held every August.
